Acupuncture is a holistic therapy offered for the purposes of meeting people where they are at in their health journey, and providing healing support as one navigates the changes of life. Acupuncture is accessible for people of all ages, life stages, and nearly all stages of illness, injury, and life transitions. Sessions are conducted with a trained and registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) who will listen to your concerns and supply treatment. Treatments are typically relaxing or rejuvenating, offering an opportunity to rest in relaxation. Please arrive to your appointment well hydrated and having had something to eat. Loose and comfortable clothing is preferable. If possible, allow time after the appointment to transition into the rest of your day. Your acupuncturist is always available for follow up to discuss any questions.

Farrah grew up gardening, influenced by her mother’s mastery of the craft and her family lineage of farming. In her youth, food was treated with respect as preventative medicine, and Acupuncture was used by her father to relieve aches from an old injury.

Farrah studied food politics and the impact of globalization on food systems, local communities, and public health at the University of Victoria in 2013. Farrah left university before graduating searching to engage in community health with a holistic approach. She graduated with a Certificate of Holistic Nutrition at Pacific Rim College in 2014.

Farrah’s life was transformed when she experienced a pedestrian accident in 2022, facing serious injuries and temporary disability. She was aided greatly by the support of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine during recovery. Farrah’s compassion for the felt sense of pain and loss that comes with the process of healing grew much during this time.

Farrah works in local food systems, studying and practicing Holistic Nutrition and Acupuncture, and operates a gardening service. Influenced by the principles of Feng Shui and Shan Shui in gardening work, and with an interest in anatomy, Farrah enrolled in Acupuncture school in 2019.

Having witnessed and personally experienced the potential for healing that integrative medicine offers, she graduated with Dual Diploma’s of Acupuncture and Holistic Nutrition from Pacific Rim College in 2023.

She is currently working on the following qualifications: Advanced Tui Na with Sarah Pritchard, Traditional Qi Gong Teacher Training 300hr with Dr. Micheal Smith, D.TCM, and the Mineral Mastery Program with Rick Fisher.
